Chad currently serves as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Carroll (Flora) High School and previously served as an assistant coach at Frontier High School. During his tenure at Frontier, they have won three Sectional Championships, a Regional Championship, and four Conference Championships. During his time as assistant coach at Frontier, they have set the school record for wins in a season three times.
The 2012 summer will be Chad's fifth year involved with travel/club baseball. Chad started in travel baseball as a Field Manager for a 16u USAthletic team during the summer of 2008. In 2009, he was the Field Manager for the Northern Baseball Club 17u team.
Chad resides in Lafayette, Indiana.
Jamie currently teaches Physical Education at Delphi Community High School. In addition to his teaching duties he serves as Owner/Director of Sailors Baseball School.
As a newcomer to the Purdue program in the 2007 season, Sailors directed a staff of young guns. By the season's end, three of the four pitchers in the Purdue starting rotation were true freshmen, including all-conference and Freshman All-America honors Matt Bischoff and Tony Sedlmeyer. Under the direction of Sailors, Bischoff earned Freshman of the Year accollades in the Big Ten Conference, becoming the first Boilermaker to be honored with an individual award selection by the league's head coaches.
The 2008 season, the Boilermaker pitching staff finished 2nd in the Big Ten in team era and allowed the fewest amount of base on balls in the league. The Purdue Nine finished the regular season in second place and made it to the finals of the Big Ten Tournament before being eliminated by Michigan. Three of Sailors' pitchers were drafted in the 2008 Major League First Year Player Draft.
Sailors joined the Purdue staff in August 2006 after serving as the head coach at University of Wisconsin-Platteville since the 2002 season. In 2005, Sailors led the Pioneers to a 22-21 final record, the school's first winning season on the diamond since 1993. The 2005 Platteville squad earned a berth in the WIAC Tournament, the first postseason appearance for the baseball team in the program's history.
Sailors also lead the Danville Dans of the Central Illinois Collegiate League (now known as the Prospect League) during the summers of 2005 and 2006. The 2005 team set a franchise record for wins and were the CICL Regular Season Champions. His 2006 team, also won the regular season title before falling the in the finals of the CICL playoffs.
Sailors was a 13th-round selection by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1992 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft after playing one season at Parkland College in Champaign, Ill. Following his senior season of high school, Sailors was a member of the 1991 Indiana High School Coaches Association North All-Star Team.
Sailors serves as a part-time scout for Perfect Game USA.
Jamie and his wife, Sarah, reside in Brookston. The couple have three children: daughter, Madisen, and sons, Brooks & Ryne.
Sean played collegiately at Indiana State University, as a two way player, from 1997 to 1999 and was a 1998 2nd team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection as a Designated Hitter and Honorable Mention as a Pitcher. Brummett was drafted in 1999 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft by the Anahiem Angels in the 15th round as a pitcher and his professional career lasted through the 2002. He was a Class A Midwest League All-Star selection in 2000 minor league season. In 2002, Sean was an All-Star in the Independent Northern League of Professional Baseball.
As a high school player Brummett, played his summer baseball with the Indiana Bulls in 1995 and 1996. Following his senior season, he was a member of the 1996 Indiana High School Coaches Association North All-Star Team.
Brummett also served as an Assistant Coach at Lincoln Trail Community College, in Robinson IL, during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
Sean and his wife Jenifer reside in Brookston and have two sons, CJ and Mason.
